Platform
In forming the conceptual identity of Branch of Concord , the intent was to reflect a particular quality and personality which is markedly different than other political organizations. This identity is meant to set Branch of Concord's public persona, inherent dialectic and operational approaches to policy on a distinctly modern plane of character and performance.
This design is intentional as there is an obvious need for “THE NEW” in the realms of public discourse and quality political agency. These aspects should be in synergy with what the 21st century requires to adequately serve the American citizenry. With an eye to the long term, this vision for Branch of Concord may also be one that future generations might find as being the right thing at the right time.
The political perspectives and entrenched institutional modes and histories of the 19th and 20th centuries belong in the history books as a guide and reference to our contemporary world. Times require change. We know what has worked in the past and what has not. Branch of Concord seeks to use these lessons to keep what works, update what’s needed and to fashion an integrated and better way going forward.
The key operational psychology and disposition of Branch of Concord is conceived as being grounded with a progressive approach from which a secular humanistic philosophy cross-inhabits its social and political opinions, policies, goals and agendas.
Branch of Concord holds a central belief, for itself, that any organized, functional administrative apparatus must have, as its primary goals, the safety, welfare and upholding of individual and Constitutional democratic rights of its citizens as the main objectives and its highest aspirations. It follows that any such entity which places effectiveness and value of purpose to these ends, must be somewhat progressive in nature.
This progressive character is deemed an important and vital asset to effectively engage the 21st century's dynamic, widely interlocking, hyper-charged pace of global reality in all it permutations.
As part of its core operational philosophy, the party aims to operate upon a transparent, concise, pragmatic tree of administrative architecture and procedure. These channels would be facilitated by the free-flow of information and a certain one for all and all for one! - esprit de corps atmosphere.
Branch of Concord aims to appeal to and gather its support across the wide central part of the political spectrum.
The substance of the party’s rhetoric is to offer ideas, pathways, suggestions and policies aimed at reinvigorating and rehabilitating American political discourse about solutions pertaining to any social or political issue of relevance. The ultimate goal is for better securing the welfare and security of the American citizenry for the 21st. Century and perhaps beyond.
A further desire of the party is contributing ideas and suggestions for new Constitutional amendments that seek to modernize and promote a long term vision of government functionality – one that can evolve with the times and which encompasses the spheres of; accountability to Office and to the Constitution of elected officials and appointees, individual rights, social justice, reasonable commercial and financial regulation and political architectures immune to financial influence - all, as an integrated and unified whole.
Branch of Concord would function as a transparent and proactive force in discussing and offering innovative performative ideas, outlines, policies and procedures on topics pertinent to contemporary American political and cultural infrastructure. These efforts would be fleshed out based on proven methodologies, established functional histories of administration, distribution and logistical expertise, hard research, the sciences and social service practices.
The operational principles set forth in this declaration of Branch of Concord are drawn from the basic tenants of traditional and general public agreement utilizing non-violence and polite, respectful discourse by which America, through its history, has managed its affairs and propagated its growth and functions since the end of the Civil War. As for external policy goals (those outside the framework of the party itself), the traditional U.S. Constitutional mechanisms utilized since that time, shall be respected and adhered to.
It is intended that this party will stand as a new platform for well established democratic ideologies and as a united community from which a metaphorical “call to arms” is raised in the struggle against isolationism, economic destitution, the tactics of fascism, racism and the neutering of visible, self-serving and self-enriching entities which undermine the American Ideal and the American Dream.
In tandem with these goals, Branch of Concord seeks to put forth to the voting public for consideration, policies and ideas which are pragmatic, humanistic, practical and efficient solutions towards the goal of reconstructing America by addressing the numerous dysfunctional systems which inhibit and prevent an essentially free, prosperous and healthy populace - equally - regardless of race, geographic location or income bracket.
In short: EVERYONE...gets a fair shot at the American Dream...FINALLY.
